I have built a hit and run hanger for this week War Robots test server. The hit and run hanger is made up of Phantom, Scorpion, Nightingale, Loki and Strider. This video I have given special attention to Nightingale because I’m considering leveling up my Nightingale when I run squad battles with my clan mates. As for drones gameplay, I can’t really see the effect my drones had during the battle. Personally, I don’t like the sight of the drone by the side of the robot.
Drones are combat units that hover around your robot, providing it with different kinds of support and allowing you to adapt your builds while you’re already in battle.
Unlike pilots and modules which are always associated with certain robots in your hangar, drones can be selected separately from your robot on the deploy screen. That means that you can select drones depending on what kind of help you need in the current situation.
Microchips are exactly what gives drones their abilities — without them, Drones will just be flying around. Some chips unlock their built-in weapons, some allow drones to boost robots’ powers, and some make them react to certain situations (like enemies suppressing or freezing you) in certain ways.
There is no limit to ways in which you can combine robot and drone abilities! By using Drones, you can unlock play styles you could never consider viable before.
